About

Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other . . . . ” (Mal. 3:16)

This blog is a book discussion spot for Christian readers anywhere–students, teachers, librarians, missionaries, pastors, parents, etc.

Members of the Webster Bible Church and Webster Christian School community post the reviews or other creative work about books, but we welcome and eagerly anticipate comments from other readers, too.

A post concerning a book does not necessarily reflect endorsement for the book.  The Christian community ranges widely in its views and convictions about what constitutes acceptable reading material.  Whereas it would be simpler to post information about noncontroversial books only, we feel that broadening the discussion to include books that might inspire debate and discussion provides a better service.

For instance, a parent may wonder about the acceptability of a book for his or her child.  A review, comments by a student reader or parent, some thought-provoking questions,  a link to a trusted web site, or some noted cautions may help that parent make a more informed decision.

Anyone may respond to a post or leave a comment.  All posts and comments are subject to review by Mrs. Carol Satta, Librarian, prior to posting.

    Carol,

Thanks once again for setting up this project. May others be challenged and edified in this ministry outlet.

Thanks for your question, Kevin. We are located in Webster, NY, a suburb of Rochester.

We began this blog last month, so we are definitely still in the “tweaking” stage!

Your question has prompted us to add a note on the “about” page directing people to links on the sidebar that provide more information about Webster Bible Church and one of its ministries, Webster Christian School.
